You should see a message appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, indicating that the VEX IQ brain was detected. With the Modkit for VEX editor open, disconnect then reconnect the USB cable to the VEX IQ brain. If Modkit still hasn't detected the VEX IQ brain, try to disconnect then reconnect the VEX IQ brain. STEP 4: Disconnect and reconnect the VEX IQ brain to the computer Then, with the Modkit for VEX editor open, make sure that the VEX IQ brain is powered ON.
STEP 3: Make sure that the VEX IQ brain is connected and powered ONĪfter you have updated the VEX IQ components and checked Modkit Link, make sure the VEX IQ brain is connected well through its USB cable. You'll know that Modkit Link is running, because there will be a small M icon displayed on your computer's toolbar. Make sure that Modkit Link us running every time you use the Modkit for VEX editor.
